Your questions answered
Why have I received an email about the Culture Panel?
You have been added to our Culture Panel because you opted in to further incentivised research about arts and culture. This means you have answered a survey from a cultural organisation you've visited in the last few months and then actively opted in at the end of that survey.
What is the Culture Panel?
Indigo's Culture Panel is a group of thousands of arts and culture attenders in the UK who want to help the sector grow by taking part in research.
Is my data safe?
Yes. We store your personal details safely in our database. Your personal data is never shared with anyone else and is only used by Indigo to contact you about research into arts and culture.
Who is Indigo?
We are audience specialists, working exclusively in arts, culture and heritage. You can read all about us here.
How can I stop getting emails from you?
You can click unsubscribe in any email from us. Or you can contact us on info@indigo-ltd.com and we'll stop emailing you.
What does "incentivised" mean?
For almost every piece of research we invite people to take part in, there is the chance to receive some kind of reward.
For our surveys, this tends to be the option to enter a prize draw to win vouchers. For focus groups or interviews, it's usually a voucher to thank you for your time. The amount varies for each project, and we'll always let you know what the incentive is before you choose to take part.
We also run a quarterly prize draw to win £100 of vouchers. You get an entry into the prize draw for completing the onboarding survey, answering a Quick Poll or if you try to complete a survey but don't meet the criteria.
What kind of research will I be taking part in?
Recent research projects have included:
- Online focus groups about a heritage organisation
- Taking part in an online research community
- Attending a concert and giving feedback in a focus group
- Completing a survey about museums
We also send out regular Quick Polls: 60-second surveys with between three and six questions about a particular topic.
How can I increase my chances of being invited to take part in research?
Some of our surveys are sent to our whole Culture Panel. For other research, we need to hand-pick particular people based on a range of criteria.
You have the highest chance of being invited if you complete the onboarding survey, respond to the Quick Polls and regularly open our research emails.
How often will I get emails?
You are likely to get invitations to take part in research from us once or twice a month (occasionally more at very busy times!).
